Part of the late Romanesque style of the 13th century., It has a nave covered with a slightly pointed barrel vault, supported by two transverse arches. The chancel leads into a semicircular apse. An oculus opens above the apse, shedding light on the temple. Around the 17th century, the side chapels were added.
In 2009, during the restoration, mural paintings in the apse were revealed (dating back to the beginning of the 13th century).
On the front exterior of the church, you will find an “esconjuradero” (building), where they used to practice rituals to keep storms away.
