The villages of the Cultural Park have distinct characteristics, which come from the use of certain construction materials and from the functionality of the domestic space. Keep in mind that the headwaters of the Park are located in the northern side of the Sierra de Guara and what sets the Sobrarbe region apart is the difference in the materials used as well as the styles, which are the product of a more extreme climate.

Each of our villages has a genuine and distinct aspect, and their layout is the product of diverse geographic and historical determining factors. In many cases, and despite the changes they have experienced, the road network tells us about the origins and the history of these villages.
