It was constructed in the middle of the 18th century following the tenets of the most refined baroque style.
The church has a latin cross layout with a nave of slender proportions and side chapels on either side. The transept, above which a dome is situated, is decorated with ovals with depictions of the four evangelists inside. Moulded cornices traverse the nave and the transept above pilasters with composite capitals. On the main facade, which is of great sobriety, the portal has the date of 1757.
The tower has two quadrangular sections and an octagonal top made of bricks.
