The current temple dates back to the 18th century and constitutes an excellent example of baroque architecture. Underneath the nave, the remnants of the old Romanesque church are located, as well as a staircase within the wall, which has been walled up.
It has a longitudinal layout with a distinctive transept, plain chevet and side chapels. Its interior is richly decorated with fluted pilasters, cornices and friezes decorated with moulding, creating a monumental space which gives the impression that much richer materials were used.
The church is accessed through the atrium, on top of which there is a tower with three sections.
