This small village is situated on the southern slope of the Sierra de Sevil (Sevil mountain range). Its country houses are huddled around the church of the “Natividad de Nuestra Señora” (Nativity of our lady, 18th century) and surrounded by a plantation of evergreen oaks, which has preserved the aspect that the rustic villages had until the middle of the 20th century.
The only material used in the construction of the walls was limestone and Arabic tiles for the roofs.
The San Pelegrín section of the route leads to the “Mesón de Sevil” (Sevil Inn).
