The Night of the Spirits precedes All Saints' Day (1 of November). It is a day of meditation, of mystery and of tradition, where the living try to facilitate the transition of the dead to their eternal life through light and sound, produced through candles and bells. Children carve pumpkins in the shape of a skull and place a lit candle inside. “Totones” and “almetas” are some of the featured beings from the underworld.

A significant proportion of the villages of the Cultural Park continue celebrating this tradition, as is the case for Colungo, Alquézar, Adahuesca, Buera and Radiquero. In this last location it plays a significant role, with a comprehensive program of organised, fun, cultural activities, delighting both young and old.
